Get to know OroMiQ

4 min read
This tour shows you how OroMiQ is laid out so you can find your way around in a few minutes: your dashboard, the main navigation, the search command palette, and where your settings live.

The shape of OroMiQ

OroMiQ is a relationship CRM at its core: a visual pipeline, a calling cockpit, email sequences, contacts and companies, and reporting. On top of that, you can switch on optional data layers (such as CQC or Companies House) that enrich your records. The core works on its own; the data layers are there when they help.

Start on your dashboard

When you sign in, you land on your Dashboard. It gives you the day at a glance: actions due, companies in your pipeline, recent activity, and any upcoming events.

You can return here any time by clicking Dashboard at the top of the sidebar.

Use the sidebar to move around

The left sidebar is your main navigation. The core CRM groups are always there: CRM (your Companies, Contacts, Calendar and Workspaces), Sales (Pipeline, Opportunities and Consultations), plus Finance, Delivery, Marketing and your Action Queue.

Click a group to expand it, then choose a page.

Note

Extra groups such as CQC or Companies Houseonly appear once you switch on the matching data layer. If your sidebar looks shorter than a colleague’s, that is why. See Turn on a data layer.

Search anything with the command palette

Click the search icon in the top bar (or press ⌘ K on a Mac, Ctrl K on Windows) to open the command palette.

Start typing to jump straight to a company, a contact, or a page, without hunting through the menus. Press Esc to close it.

The search command palette open over the dashboard, listing quick links to pages such as Dashboard, Portfolio and Watchlist.

Find your account and settings

Your avatar sits in the top-right corner. Click it to open your personal menu, where you will find My account (your profile and security) and Settings (your organisation, team, billing and add-ons).

This is also where you sign out.
