OroMiQ is an intelligence-based CRM. Alongside the information your team records, you can enrich your companies and accounts with optional data layers drawn from public UK registers and open data sources. Every layer is opt-in: your organisation chooses which layers to enable, and a layer only ever adds context to records you already hold.
This page lists every source we use, what we collect from it, how it is used in the product, and the licence it is used under. Attributions also appear alongside the data in the product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any of the bodies listed below. For what data layers do for your team, see Data layers.
Care Quality Commission (CQC)
CQC syndication API
- What we collect
- Registered locations and providers, current and historic ratings, inspection dates and reports, registration details.
- How we use it
- Enriches care-sector accounts with live ratings, inspection history, benchmarking, and change alerts when the CQC data layer is enabled.
- Licence
- Used under CQC syndication terms and the Open Government Licence v3.0, with attribution. OroMiQ is not affiliated with or endorsed by the CQC.
Companies House
Companies House API
- What we collect
- Company profiles, filing history, accounts status, officers, persons with significant control, and charges for companies you link.
- How we use it
- Enriches linked accounts with company health, filing deadlines, and change alerts when the Companies House data layer is enabled.
- Licence
- Public register data, free to re-use under Companies House terms.
The Gazette
The Gazette official public record (data.thegazette.co.uk)
- What we collect
- Corporate insolvency notices: winding-up petitions, administrations, liquidations, receiverships, and strike-offs.
- How we use it
- Raises distress signals on linked companies the moment a notice is published, when the Gazette data layer is enabled.
- Licence
- Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
Gender Pay Gap Service
UK Government Gender Pay Gap service
- What we collect
- Annual gender pay gap reports filed by employers with 250 or more staff: hourly and bonus gaps, quartiles, and employer size band.
- How we use it
- Enriches linked companies with reported pay gap figures and an employer size indicator, when the layer is enabled.
- Licence
- Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) register
The national EPC register (get-energy-performance-data.communities.gov.uk)
- What we collect
- Non-domestic energy certificates: asset rating and band, property type, floor area, inspection and lodgement dates, and the premises reference (UPRN).
- How we use it
- Links an account to its premises and shows the energy rating, when the layer is enabled. Address data from the register is used solely to identify the property.
- Licence
- Non-address data (including the property reference) is licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Address data carries Ordnance Survey and Royal Mail rights and is used under the register’s copyright notice for energy-efficiency purposes only.

Information Commissioner's Office public register
- What we collect
- Data protection registration number, organisation name and address, fee tier, and registration dates.
- How we use it
- Enriches companies you already work with: registration status and renewal dates, with a reminder when a registration is due to lapse. This layer is enrichment only. It is never used for prospecting, list building, or direct marketing, and it cannot filter or segment records in OroMiQ.
- Licence
- Register dataset re-used under the Open Government Licence v3.0 with attribution to the Information Commissioner’s Office; the OGL does not apply to personal data within the register, which we process only to enrich existing business relationships and never for direct marketing. OroMiQ enforces this in the product.
Public data is provided as is: we take reasonable steps to keep it current, but you should verify information independently before relying on it. Some sources attach conditions to how their data may be used; those conditions carry through to your use of the data in OroMiQ, as set out in our Terms of Service.
