Getting started

Read your dashboard and run your first report

4 min read
Your dashboard is the day at a glance, and reports tell you what is working. Here you will make sense of your dashboard and pull your first report.

Read your dashboard

Your Dashboard pulls together what needs your attention: actions due, companies in your pipeline, recent activity, and upcoming events.

In the Pipeline panel, select one or more pipelines to see live stage counts. Connect Microsoft 365 to fill Upcoming Events with your calendar.

Note

Switch on a data layer such as CQC and you also get a fully customisable widget dashboard, where you can add, rearrange and resize widgets. The core dashboard panels above are fixed.

Open a report tab

Reports live as tabs alongside your lists, pipelines and dashboards. Open a report tab and it runs for its saved period, showing headline numbers, a chart, and the detail underneath. Rows link back to the records behind them.

Use the period switcher in the header to peek at a different date range, and Export CSV to download the figures for a spreadsheet. If you can edit the report, Edit report lets you change its filters, grouping and chart.

Note

A new account shows little data until you have logged activity and won deals. That is expected: your reports fill out as you work.

Create your own report

Click the + at the end of the tab strip and choose New workspace. Pick a ready-made report from the gallery, or choose Start blank and the Report type to build your own: pick what to report on, the period, any filters, and how to chart it.

Try Source attribution to see which lead sources bring in your best work. It is the quickest way to learn where to spend your time.
