Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 23 March 2026

1. Our Commitment

OroMiQ is committed to making its platform accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

We design and develop with accessibility in mind from the outset. Our colour palette is chosen to meet contrast ratios of at least 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text and user interface components, in line with WCAG success criteria 1.4.3 and 1.4.11.

2. Accessibility Features

The OroMiQ platform incorporates the following accessibility features:

  • Semantic HTML: Pages are structured using appropriate heading levels, landmarks, and ARIA attributes to support screen readers and assistive technologies.
  • Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements, including menus, dialogs, and form controls, are operable via keyboard alone.
  • Component accessibility: We use Material UI (MUI) components, which provide built-in accessibility support including focus management, ARIA roles, and keyboard interaction patterns.
  • Responsive design: The platform adapts to different screen sizes and supports browser zoom up to at least 200% without loss of content or functionality.
  • Language declaration: All pages include a lang="en" attribute to ensure assistive technologies correctly identify the document language.

3. Known Limitations

We are continuously working to improve the accessibility of the OroMiQ platform. However, we acknowledge the following limitations:

  • A formal third-party accessibility audit has not yet been completed. While we follow WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines during design and development, some areas of the platform may not yet fully meet every success criterion.
  • Certain data visualisations, such as charts and benchmark graphics, may not yet provide full text alternatives for all conveyed information. We are actively working to improve these.
  • Some older content or third-party embedded components may not fully conform to our accessibility standards.

We treat accessibility as an ongoing effort and are committed to addressing known issues as part of our regular development process.

4. Feedback and Contact

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of the OroMiQ platform. If you encounter any accessibility barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please let us know through our contact page.

When reporting an accessibility issue, it is helpful to include a description of the problem, the page or feature affected, and the assistive technology you are using (if applicable). We take all accessibility reports seriously and aim to respond within five working days.

5. Enforcement

If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility concern, you may contact the Equality Advisory Support Service (EASS), which provides advice and assistance on discrimination and equality issues, including matters relating to the Equality Act 2010.

You can reach the EASS through their website at equalityadvisoryservice.com.
